Homework: All work from portfolio 1&2 due by the end of the day today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A good intro should have:
1.
A hook
2.
Background Information
3.
Thesis Statement
Example Topic: Nanotechnology will benefit the CNY area.
Introduction 1: Nanotech is cool. It like makes bullet proof clothes and
stuff. We should definitely have nano tech.
Introduction 2:
Imagine a future where the clothes you buy off the shelf
make you bullet proof. A future where
cancer is beat by new technology that allows for the medicine to ONLY attack
the harmful cells and leave the good cells alone. A whole new world where the energy you use
just by tapping keys on a keyboard can be harnessed by nanotechnology, built
into your clothing, and used to recharge your portable devices. Nanotechnology is a huge new field of science
that helps create everything from the computer chip in you smart phone to new
medicines that may one day help people with paralyzed limbs regain
movement. In addition, nanotechnology
had the potential to bring a huge influx of jobs and money to a struggling
economy. Nanotechnology is a new field
of study that will benefit the CNY area in a vast way.
Your Job: Based on the following picture write an introduction that introduces how at least one of Newton's Laws predicts the motion of cow and the dolphin.
