Homework: Read up to chapters 1-7  by the end of Friday

 1. There will be time in class to read
 2.  If you need to borrow a book over the weekend see me on Friday
 3. Quiz on 1-7 on Tuesday
 4.  Notes on chapters 1-7 will be collected on Tuesday (Please label your 
      notes chapter 1, chapter 2, etc
 5.  A good guideline for how many notes to take is 5-10 per chapter

During class we will be reading, totalling portfolios, and discussing the
     novel
