Homework: Chapter 15&16 with five notes each chapter!! There will be a quiz on 13-16 

1.  Characterization with positive and negative qualities

    1.  With your group decide on four characters from the book
    2.  On the back of your sheet write at least 2 positive characteristics for each character and at least 2
         negative characteristics for each character
    3.  On the front of your sheet write a short 3-4 sentence paragraph in each box describing each
         character's positive and negative qualities....Be sure to use TBD's to support your answer.

Homework: Read chapter 13&14 with five notes each chapter 

1.  Categorizing various words/topic from TSB 

Steps: 
    1.  Cut all the words out from the worksheet 
    2.  Begin arranging your words according to categories that you and your group determine 
    3.  When you are done categorizing the words come up with titles for your categories 
    4.  On different color index cards write the title of your category and all the words associated with that 
         category 
    5.  Be sure you can justify your categories

1.  Skim through the novel to find up to 10 words you are unfamiliar with 

2.  Create a vocabulary packet for those ten words:  

        The Vocabulary packet must include:

             - a cover page with the word, definition and part of speech 

             - two additional assignments that test the spelling, definition, and part of speech of the word 

             - you must have a blank copy and a key printed off 

             - you may work with a partner
