Here is what needs to be included in your collage
1. Two pictures of totem poles
2. Two facts about totem poles
3. Two pictures of the island that Cole is on
4. Two Facts about Ketchikan, Alaska (the island Cole is on)
5. One picture of the Spirit Bear
6. One fact about the spirit bear
You can do this collage in any program you want as long as it is digital.
A big portion of your grade will be based upon effort!
EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY FOR UP TO 10PTS ADDED ON TO A PORTFOLIO OF YOUR CHOICE!!!
1. Skim through the novel to find up to 10 words you are unfamiliar with
2. Create a vocabulary packet for those ten words:
The Vocabulary packet must include:
- a cover page with the word, definition and part of speech
- two additional assignments that test the spelling, definition, and part of speech of the word
- you must have a blank copy and a key printed off
- you may work with a partner
