Click on the picture above to hear the live 1938 broadcact of "War of the Worlds" written by H.G Wells. This story was broadcasted live in 1938 by Orson Welles. Unfortunatley, many people thought the story was real. Mass hysteria ensued as more and more people began to believe that the Earth was, in fact, being invaded by Martians.
